Absolutely NOT! Please use your text or the APPROVED online dictionary www.wordreference.com. Computer assisted translation does not represent the student’s own effort to prove proficiency in writing in the target language.
Often work translated demonstrates tenses and vocabulary beyond the student’s level. Furthermore, past experience has shown that the product of these translations is of inferior quality. Students are advised to consult a dictionary, use www.wordreference.com or ask their teacher for assistance. Evidence of the use of a translation program will result in an insufficient progress mark for the assignment.
